At any one moment during their work executive coaches have a vast array of interventions at their disposal. The key question for any coach is undoubtedly: “Which, of the whole range of things that I can do now, is the best for my coachee?” This question addresses the effectiveness of coaching. I argue that psychotherapy research may have something to teach to coaches in this regard
